Follow these steps to connect your iPhone and start sending iMessages through Texting Blue.

Choose Plan
Start with a 3-day free trial. After the trial, plans start at $19/seat/month on the Lite plan.
- Free trial includes full feature access
- Lite plan: 100 messages/day per number
- Upgrade or cancel anytime from Billing settings

Add Phone Number
Enter your iPhone phone number in E.164 format (e.g. +14155551234). This registers it with Texting Blue.
- Must be a real iPhone number
- You can add multiple numbers later

Install Setup Shortcut
Scan the QR code shown on-screen with your iPhone camera. This installs the setup shortcut that connects your phone.
- Open the shortcut and tap "Add Shortcut"
- Run it once — it will display a 6-digit verification code
- Enter the code in the dashboard to complete pairing

Install Sending Shortcut
Scan the second QR code to install the sending shortcut. This enables your iPhone to send messages on your behalf.
- Tap "Add Shortcut" when prompted
- Run the shortcut once to grant permissions
- It runs automatically via a time-based automation
- The first time you send a message, you may need to grant additional permissions. If the device is locked, the iPhone won't ask for them. For the first message, it is recommended to keep the iPhone unlocked and approve all permissions.

Install Receiving Shortcut
Scan the third QR code to install the receiving shortcut. This forwards incoming iMessages to Texting Blue.
- Tap "Add Shortcut" when prompted
- Run the shortcut once to grant permissions
- Create a "Message Received" automation to trigger it

Complete Setup
Create a message-received automation in Shortcuts and you're done! Your number is now fully connected.
- Set the automation to trigger when a message is received
- Choose the receiving shortcut as the action
- Messages will now appear in your Inbox automatically
